Our Yale House refresh is in progress! As the original House in New Mexico, the Yale House has received a lot of love over the past 39 years. All that love had taken its toll, and we knew it was time to refresh the space to bring this beloved House up to date.

After going into complicated premature labor just 27 weeks into her pregnancy, Venessa and her unborn twin girls were airlifted from Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque.

In early October, Steffani and her partner, Sterling, received the news no parent-to-be wants to hear; their daughter, Scarlett, would be arriving early. “It was scary, but not unexpected, the doctors told us that my uterus had stopped growing, so there just wasn’t enough space for her to reach full term,” Steffani said.

We are so grateful to have the help of the Ronald McDonald House. My four-year-old son, Ozmar, was born with normal hearing, which was then wiped out by bacterial meningitis by the age of two.
